
Heidi Watney (born May 19 1981) is an American sportscaster and an Apple TV reporter. TV+.A graduate of the University of San Diego, her past sportscasting experience included roles at MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno.Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno where she competed in gymnastics, hurdles, diving and cheerleading. Her first year as a National Merit Scholar and attended the University of San Diego on an academic scholarship, where she graduated with distinction in 2003. 2. Watney has competed in the Miss California USA pageant, which she won as the first second-place finisher in 2002. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. After starting as a morning traffic reporter she moved to the anchor of sports on weekends and eventually reporter for weekdays. "3"Watney came to Massachusetts in 2008 to work at New England Sports Network (NESN). She served as an official reporter on gamedays for the Boston Red Sox. Watney hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show as along with Red Sox Report. Watney began her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet, being a reporter for LA Galaxy.
