KateCatherine Elizabeth Middleton was born in the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, United Kingdom. Her other siblings are Philippa Charlotte, who is a younger sibling, and James William, a younger brother. Carole Her mother was employed as an air hostess and Michael as a flight dispatcher for British Airways. They were married on June 21 of 1980. The couple then established Party Pieces, a successful company selling mail-order accessories and supplies for parties in 1987. Catherine and her family moved from London to Amman (Jordan) around 1984. In Jordan, her father was working for British Airways. Catherine as well as her elder sister Philippa was a student at her first Jordan nursery school.
