Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her main work involves involved in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Rasoolum Malayalam film made her Malayalam acting debut. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian family. Her father is a Madras High Court lawyer. Also, she has one younger sister, who is currently working as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah comes from Chennai. She was a student at National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano when she was eight. She was a big enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. She joined the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. She was also a theatre performer in the college she attended and appeared in several performances staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her theatre career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the new leo Coffee advertisement included Shiva. She also acted in the Podhigai Channel in a television show. The actress has also appeared on stage in India. There was a brief appearance for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea play the lead role after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea played Kalyani the housewife whose husband has been involved in an affair. She was targeted for blackmail. Andrea won the role of Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actors were approached. which released in early 2010.
