Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in the year 1986. She is Canadian and has been working in the film industry on many different projects. Her most well-known role was Alexis Rose on the CBC show Schitt's creek that began in the year the year of 2015. It ended in 2020. Critics lauded her for her performance and awarded her an Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was to Ottawa Ontario Canada. Her parents both taught. Elmwood School, Ottawa is where she first began her involvement in theatrical productions. The next step was to attend Concordia University and pursue a theater performance degree. To further her education in acting, she enrolled in classes at Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. Following her move from Toronto to Los Angeles, she began professional acting at the age of 22. In 2007, Annie Murphy started off her acting career and made her debut through the thriller-style crime film Lethal Obsession.
