Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in the city of Decatur on 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss, were amongst the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Alison Krauss started her musical career as a child, winning local competitions at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age fourteen. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut single album, a solo one in the year 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Later, in 1989 her first solo album was released in conjunction with the band.
